Lexamica, led by Arkansas native Gabriel Stiritz, began building meaningful traction after engaging with the local startup community through VC Immersions.
Launched in October 2023, Lexamica addresses a common but often overlooked issue in the legal industry: law firms frequently receive valuable cases they can’t take on and lack an efficient, transparent system for managing referrals. Lexamica solves this by providing a legal referral network that allows firms to place, track claims, and receive payment for successful referrals. Since its launch, the company has grown to a team of 20 and now supports more than 300 law firms nationwide.
Gabriel Stiritz, Lexamica’s Founder and CEO, built the platform based on his direct experience in plaintiff-side law. “The legal referral market is huge, billions of dollars are exchanged yearly, but most law firms rely on informal networks and manual processes,” he said. Lexamica is designed to professionalize and scale these transactions, helping firms unlock new revenue from cases they can’t handle in-house.
Lexamica was introduced to the VC Immersions program through a local connection and became an active participant. “Coming into the Arkansas startup ecosystem, I didn’t have many connections,” Gabriel said. “VC Immersions gave us direct access to investors and helped us understand how capital moves in this region.”
Through several VC Immersions events, Gabriel refined his pitch, expanded his investor network, and built relationships that shaped Lexamica’s fundraising strategy. “At my first VC day, I booked one meeting. At my third, I had six,” he said. “Each time we participated, we gained more traction and visibility.”
As a result of their involvement, Lexamica raised its angel round with the help of Arkansas-based investors, including Ark Fund. The Lexamica team continues to engage with other firms they met through VC Immersions as they prepare for the future. “We’ve built strong connections with VC leaders through these events. They’ve been instrumental in helping us navigate the local landscape,” Gabriel shared.
The impact of this funding has been significant. Lexamica is processing thousands of claims monthly and is on track to triple revenue this year. The team has doubled in size, and they continue to expand their platform to meet increasing demand. “The traction is real,” Gabriel said. “We’re building a critical infrastructure layer for the legal industry, and we’re doing it from Arkansas.”
Beyond funding, VC Immersions helped Lexamica connect with the broader startup community in Northwest Arkansas. “The visibility, the introductions, the newsletter updates, it all keeps you plugged into what’s happening here,” Gabriel said. “It’s the kind of connectivity that early-stage companies need but don’t always know where to find.”
For founders considering the program, Gabriel’s advice is simple: show up. “Even if you’re early, even if you don’t get selected to pitch, apply anyway. Be in the room. This is where the relationships start,” he said.
