Startup NWA is excited to welcome RevTech Ventures, a Dallas-based venture capital firm, to Northwest Arkansas as the newest VC Ambassador for Onward HQ. This new chapter highlights the growing national recognition of Northwest Arkansas as a hub for retail, supply chain, and logistics innovation and further cements Onward HQ’s commitment to fueling NWA’s innovation ecosystem.

Driving the Future of Retail and Supply Chain Innovation

Born out of the family office that sold Michaels to Bain Capital and Blackstone in the early 2000’s, retail is in RevTech’s Blood. Their team brings hands-on operator experience with a founder-first mentality that resonates deeply with early-stage founders.

By supporting high-growth companies revolutionizing retail, e-commerce and supply chain technologies, RevTech Ventures has built a strong reputation. These sectors align with Northwest Arkansas’s established position as a global retail hub. To deepen its engagement with local entrepreneurs, RevTech Ventures is expanding its presence, offering mentorship and investment opportunities to startups in these key industries.

“We’re looking for capital-efficient startups that can raise $1MM and exit for $20MM or more,” said David Matthews at RevTech. “Northwest Arkansas has all the ingredients of a world-class innovation hub, industry expertise, an ambitious startup community and a robust support system for early-stage founders. Through our partnership with Onward HQ, we’re proud to support the next generation of companies transforming the retail value chain.”

Linking Founders with Key Resources and Strategic Connections

Onward HQ, an innovation hub in Northwest Arkansas, strategically accelerates startup success by connecting founders, investors, and industry leaders. Through its VC Ambassador program, Onward HQ facilitates structured, high-value engagements between visiting investors and the local entrepreneurial community. This initiative ensures that capital, expertise and key relationships intentionally flow into the region, providing startups with the resources they need to thrive. These efforts are bolstered by regional partners like the Northwest Arkansas Council, whose ongoing support strengthens the foundation of the area’s innovation ecosystem.

“The addition of RevTech Ventures as a VC Ambassador strengthens Onward HQ’s position as the go-to destination for investors looking to tap into the immense potential of Northwest Arkansas,” said Startup NWA Executive Director Serafina Lalany.
