Arkansas Coding Academy to Open New Campus in Northwest Arkansas // Metova Wins 2019 IoT Breakthrough Award // RevUnit Named in 360 List of Best Entrepreneurial Companies // Bucket Technologies to Launch Early 2019
Software developers are the creative minds behind computer programs and the demand for them across Northwest Arkansas increases by the day. Through an intensive 3-month boot camp, the Arkansas Coding Academy aims to provide individuals with the skills and mentorship they need to succeed in IT and IT-related industries throughout region.
The Arkansas Coding Academy, which currently operates coding programs in Conway and Little Rock, is partnering with the City of Fayetteville & Startup Junkie to offer classes in Fayetteville, Arkansas starting May 13th, 2019! The full-time track will run from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. for 13 weeks with a maximum of 15 people. There are no special prerequisites or educational background required for the program, only a desire and willingness to learn, as well as a natural curiosity and passion for technology and development. A second local tech company actively recruiting developers, made national waves just prior to the holidays. RevUnit was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s exclusive listing of the 360 “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America” for the second year in a row.

Lastly, a local fintech startup, Bucket Technologies, will pilot their blockchain-based digital piggybank software throughout the region early this year. According to Talk Business and Politics, Bucket Technologies, which relocated from California to Northwest Arkansas in 2017 and has raised $3 million in funding since inception, will launch their digital coins saving program with over 50 businesses throughout the region early this year!
